Game Factory is releasing a new minigame title for the PC, based on the Miss Spider property.  Called Scavenger Hunt, this one includes four characters and nine minigames.  Game Factory remains dedicated to family oriented entertainment, by licencing popular childrens' books and materials and making games based on them.  It's nice to have more stuff for kids, especially with politicians gunning for the industry these days.
Rounding out its video game portfolio geared to family focused entertainment, THE GAME FACTORY announced today the retail availability of “Miss Spider Scavenger Hunt” its first adventure game for PC CD-Rom format.  “Miss Spider Scavenger Hunt”, rated E for everyone, features four playable characters and a total of nine mini games. Intended for children ages four to seven years of age, the title is available for a suggested retail price of $19.99.

“Miss Spider Scavenger Hunt’s” storyline follows the adventures of the gentle, kind-hearted Miss Spider, her husband Holley and their buggy bunch of kids.  This miniature wonderland of Sunny Patch is home to a fascinating assortment of hoppers, flyers and creepy crawlers of all shapes, sizes and colors.  One day Miss Spider announces to her four children that the activity of the day will be a scavenger hunt; once a player has selected his/her character he must help locate the items on his list.  Complete all four scavenger hunts and unlock the ninth and final activity with Miss Spider.  Three difficulty levels ensure challenging game play for players of all ages.

“We are thrilled to be releasing our second video game title based on the endearing and vibrant world of Miss Spider for the PC format,” said vice president North America Leah Kalboussi.  “In addition to having fun, the game allows children to experience adventure with an educational twist, exercising skills such as math, hand-eye coordination and color matching.  We believe that our commitment to delivering compelling storylines with high quality graphics will keep parents and children alike returning to our product portfolio.”

“We have been designing award-winning children’s software for over 10 years, so we understand what teachers, parents and children desire in video game experiences” said Richard Vincent, CEO and Creative Director Kutoka Interactive.”  “We are so happy that through our collaboration with The Game Factory and our shared commitment to producing quality software, we’ve developed a title that we know will engage children’s imaginations.”
