More On: Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition
Finally! Netherrealm caved and agreed to port Mortal Kombat to the PC. The question now becomes whether or not we are going to see any enhancements in the new port. Well, judging from the official minimum and recommended system specs for the game, we could be seeing some graphical enhancements thanks to the recommendation of DX11. The official specs are as follows:

Minimum requirements
  • OS: (32-bit) Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • CPU: Intel Core Duo, 2.4 GHz / AMD Athlon X2, 2.8 GHz
  • Memory: 2 GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS / AMD Radeon 3850
  • DirectX: DX 10
  • Windows XP and DirectX® 9.0c and below not supported
Recommended Requirements
  • OS: (64-bit) Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 750, 2.67 GHz / AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB
  • Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 / AMD Radeon HD 6950
  • DirectX: DX 11
An official trailer for the PC version has also made its way online, which you can check out below. I don’t see anything in the gameplay below that shows off any enhanced visuals, but then again we haven’t seen the final build yet. That comes next week!
