Back in my childhood, my cousins had an Atari 2600, my best friend a Colecovision and I had Intellivision. Needless to say, it always felt like I had the short end of the stick, with games that felt like knockoff compared to the branded titles and slick graphics the other two systems provided. Recently, Intellivision games have been making a huge comeback, with releases on Xbox Live and the Wii…and announced yesterday, the Nintendo DS with
Intellivision Lives!
The game features over 60 classic Intellivision titles, including Astrosmash, B-17 Bomber, Shark! Shark!, Motocross, Space Cadet, Thin Ice and more and will hit retail in September 2010. Anyone interested in checking it out can see it at the Classic Games Expo in Las Vegas, held at Tropicana Hotel today and tomorrow.
