Ars Technica reports, someone can generate a link to have it run a DLL, or dynamic linking library. A DLL is compiled code that your PC can execute and for those that are evil enough, they can use it to run a code to take over your computer or steal information.
EA's looking into it, but I would advise clicking on anything suspicious or just log off Origin if you aren't playing a game.
