F1 2013's marketing lacks the sensationality of a
GRID 2. So, no,
F1 2013 won't be
selling you a $190,000 complete-with-BAC-Mono-supercar special edition. But, it does have a video of Spanish Formula One racer Fernando Alonso doing a hot lap around the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Milan, Italy.
Alonso, driving for Ferrari, came in 2nd at the Italian Grand Prix this past weekend. The Italian crowd booed the Red Bull racer that took 1st on the podium.
In this gameplay video, some of the Autodromo's coloring and contrast feels a little flat, but it's hard to argue with the shiny, shiny reflections in Alonso's Ferrari-red paint job as he cuts corners for the best lap time. Sweet digital readout on the steering wheel, too. (We've also got an F1 2013 hot lap video on Spain's Circuito de Jerez track. Watch our own Dave Gamble
work himself into a lather over this year's added features.)
