Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is pleased to unveil the relaunch of www.whatisfear.com, the official F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin website. The sequel to the critically-acclaimed supernatural first-person shooter F.E.A.R., F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin ushers in a new dimension of paranormal horror, cinematic combat and highly kinetic action. The newly updated website gives visitors an exclusive look at an Armacham "Intel Briefing" video and is packed with all the sensitive documents and classified files surrounding the upcoming game, as well as a cache of historical files and media that bridge that gap between the original game and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
Among the newly added content, users will find the latest developer news on F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, as well as briefs from the community at large. Players can also investigate Alma's sordid past in a section called "Alma's Reality," and read character dossiers on the F.E.A.R. 2 team page. In addition, fans will discover an inside look at the mysterious Armacham Technology Corporation and the company's top-secret projects.
Visitors will also be able to download the PC demo of the game from the website beginning January 22.

About F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2005 smash hit game, F.E.A.R., is a blend of advanced visceral combat mixed with seamless game pacing set inside a sinister and paranormal universe that begins shortly before the ending of F.E.A.R. A Special Forces squad is on a routine mission when the city of Auburn is rocked by a supernatural explosion. Alma, a girl with immense power and a thirst for revenge, has unleashed her wrath upon the city and thrown it into chaos. The squad must combat enemy forces and the supernatural as they struggle to find a way to stop Alma and uncover the mysterious forces arrayed against them before it's too late.
The game is being developed for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Windows PC and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment systems by Monolith Productions and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive. The game will ship to North American retailers on February 10.
