Earn Microsoft Points by using the Bing bar

More On: Microsoft Points
For those that use Internet Explorer, there's a way to earn some Microsoft Points easily. Install this Bing Toolbar and use it to search as well as click on some offers and you'll be on your way to earning points that can be redeemed for many things. One of them is Microsoft Points.

For searching, you can earn about 12 points a day and Microsoft periodically puts in search offers worth about 12 points per click. For every 100 points you earn, you can trade them in for 100 Microsoft Points. It's pretty easy and if you're already using IE as your browser of choice, you can grab some free Microsoft Points while you are doing your everyday searching.

Yes, you have to use Bing, which isn't a bad search engine in itself though. There's a cap per day and the current offers seem to have slowed down in terms of having new ones offered but so far, after a few weeks I've nabbed 496 points and I didn't even do a search every day so there's probably a good 100 or so points I've missed.
