You knew this was coming. The ESA has
given their support the Stop Online Piracy Act that many folks loathe.
Ironically, members of the ESA including Sony, Nintendo, and EA have rescinded their support of SOPA so you have an organization supporting an act where many of their large members are against of.
The ESA has made some pretty poor decisions in the past and this is another one to add to their list.
They always put up a billboard at E3 on trying to stop pirating games, so I'll guess we'll see SOPA billboards this year at the show. In any case, I don't see this boding well for the ESA.
