One of my great fond memories of my childhood was playing Infocom text adventure games and one of my favorites was The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It was such a great translation of the novel to a game but make no bones about it, you die a lot. Then again, you die a lot in many Infocom games.
30 years later, the BBC has released a 30th anniversary edition for you guys to play. They did this as well during the 20th anniversary of the game. For those who want to play on a mobile device, the developers are hard at work at making this happen so don't panic. They will get to it.
It looks like saves from the 20th anniversary edition does port over to the 30th anniversary edition, which is good for those who played a lot before. The game's not HTML5 rather than Flash with a better interface and the ability to Tweet from the game.
If you loved the book you'll enjoy this little game that caused many laughs and frustrations throughout the years.
