The Verge has reported today that
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will receive new downloadable content on September 11 that adds the Dinobots into
Fall of Cybertron's "build your own transformer" multiplayer. That was arguably the most interesting part of
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron's multiplayer. Every multiplayer game lets you run around and blow **** up, no other offers children of the 80's a chance to live the dream of building their own transformer.
The so-named
Dinobot Destructor Pack will feature my favorite transformer, Grimlock (a Tyrannosaurus rex), Slug (a triceratops), Snarl (a stegosaurus), and last, but not least, Swoop (a pteranodon). It will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. The price is as-yet unannounced.
We really liked Transformers: Fall of Cybertron here at Gaming Nexus; however, for me, the lack of single-player dinobots was a bit of a letdown. Multiplayer dinobots makes up for it a little.
