35,698. That's the score achieved by a combination of AMD
Phenom II processor and 2 AMD
Radeon HD 4870 X2 video graphics cards in 3DMark 06. The whole setup is part of their Dragon platform combining various AMD parts. It takes a lot of work to break the record and you can see some of it in the video below.
AMD’s Phenom II processors just added another overclocking world record, this time with a 3DMark06 score of 35,698.
Achieved with AMD’s “Dragon” platform technology featuring Phenom II processors with DDR3 support and ATI Radeon HD 4800 series graphics, the new video documenting the record titled “FINLAND IS COLD” is the sequel to the acclaimed "The Experiment" where Team Finland set the 3DMark05 World Record in January 2009. In fact, Team Finland achieved these results using Liquid Nitrogen and air cooled graphics which leaves plenty of room for improvement by others in the overclocking community.
