Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss, 8th expansion pack, now available

As of yesterday Stygian Abyss the 8th expansion pack for Ultima Online was released by Mythic Entertainment and Electronic Arts Inc. Players can now fulfill a cartoon fantasy and play as the Gargoyle class and explore the Gargoyle homeland of Ter Mur, and the Stygian Abyss - the largest dungeon area ever in Ultima Online. Until December 31, 2010 players can purchase and redeem download codes for a copy of Stygian Abyss at the EA store , or other participating retailers. The expansion sells for $29.99 for existing and former account users and $39.99 for new accounts with a bonus 30-day game-time with purchase. Each purchase of the new expansion also comes with a multi-use Alteration Token to transform current characters into Gargoyles, obtain an exclusive gargoyle craftable pet, and some decorative Stygian Abyss mob boss statues.

Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss revolves around the introduction of the playable Gargoyle race. Players will also find expansive new areas to explore, including Ter Mur, the Gargoyle homeland, and the Stygian Abyss – the largest dungeon area ever introduced to Ultima Online.
