‘Tis the season for Holiday Classics, which means it is no accident that Oceanhouse Media is releasing several Apps for the iPhone OS based off How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss. Starting off is a snowball throwing game titled Grinchmas, that can eb found on the AppStore for $1.99 as well as Dr. Seuss Camera - The Grinch Edition, a greeting card maker for $2.99.

Also coming this holiday season from Oceanhouse Media is a How the Grinch Stole Christmas! e-Book App. Written by Dr. Seuss in 1957, How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is being adapted for the first time to an interactive book format for the iPhone and iPod Touch and will combine the beautiful original artwork of the book with innovative features that promote reading in young children.

By swiping across the multi-touch screen, players throw either snowballs or presents down to Who-ville, depending on whether they feel “mean” or “merry.” Grinchmas features fun, colorful graphics that mirror the timeless style of How The Grinch Stole Christmas! Accuracy and quantity of successful throws determine the player’s score.
The Dr. Seuss Camera – The Grinch Edition app for the iPhone is now available in the Photography category and allows users to create festive “Grinchmas Cards” using the iPhone’s built-in camera. Players can pose with characters or choose to become the Grinch, his faithful four-legged friend Max, or even the adorable little Cindy-Lou Who. Cards can be personalized with comical and colorful stamps, borders and classic Seussian text. Grinchmas Cards can be e-mailed to friends and family or saved to the Photo Library.
