Crazy Monkey Studios has announced the arrival of Siegebreaker on the iTunes App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. Siegebreaker is a hybrid of traditional tower defense gameplay combined with various RPG elements. Players assume the role of the rock star Keith in his quest to save Brookelands from an undead army of skeletons, zombies, and even blobs of slime. The story in Siegebreaker's campaign mode is told to players with drawn comic panels. As well, an additional siege mode can be unlocking by playing through the campaign. Bonus levels and other characters can be purchased as downloadable content within the game.

Kontich, Belgium - 02 December 2011 – Siegebreaker from the Belgian developer Crazy Monkey Studios is now available on the App Store for free download for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. In the unique mix of real-time strategy and role playing game, players in the guise of rock star Keith Rock must free the Brookelands from the mysterious evil which has befallen the land. Chosen by fate, it is now up to the player to be the hero as rock star Keith. In the battle against the undead army, he not only has the help of deadly guitar riffs, but every 40 seconds he can also call on his special Rolling Stone attack in genuine rock star style. Just how all the inhabitants of the Brookelands were transformed into skeletons, zombies and blobs of slime is told in the lovingly drawn comics in the campaign mode. Players can also unlock up to five additional crazy characters for their Siegebreaker team in order to stop the enemy hordes with their help. But the positioning and timing of the various skills and power ups demand a lot of tactical talent. The more characters there are on the screen, the harder it is to coordinate their actions. In the Siege mode, players can go after the highscore with the Siegebreaker team unlocked in the campaign. The longer the king survives, the better the score, which can also be shared with friends and the rest of the world thanks to connection to Game Center. Valuable Power Orbs, which are needed to upgrade values and purchase new abilities for the team, can also be earned in the Siege mode. Additional Power Orbs or a small but permanent health bonus for the kings' hit points can be bought through in-app purchase. The first additional level pack is also available for the release for just $1.99 / €1.59 / £1.49, unlocking four challenging bonus levels and a mystery character.
