Realtime Worlds put a lot of bank on the success of
APB. It's just a shame the game's not doing all that well. Their previous game,
Crackdown, was hit that came out of nowhere but
APB's costing the company.
Edge
has word that the company is now in administration meaning an external source has come in to take over as well as help paying off debts. In addition, the staff has been cut to 45 folks and that
the Denver office has been closed.
I don't know anyone that's playing
APB so I don't know how well the game is but if you are one, chime and let us know of the folks at Realtime Worlds has done right and done wrong. It's sad to see a company fall but let's hope things work out in he end for all those involved.
