Tripwire Interactive has announced a huge new content update for Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45's mod, Darkest Hour, It features new maps, new weapons, new roles, and new playable vehicles. This update is completely free for anyone who already owns Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45. Darkest Hour will auto-update if you already have it installed, or got to steam to install it for free.
The new maps are Bridgehead, Caen, Cambes-en-Plaine, Carentan Causeway, Gran, Hill 400, Kommerscheidt, Lutremange, Poteau Ambush, Simonskall, and Vieux Recon.
New allied vehicles include the Sherman M4A3E2 Jumbo, GMC 2.5 Ton Truck, Sherman M4A3 (75mm and 76mm)W, M-8 Greyhound, and M-18 Hellcat.
The Germans get the Jagtiger, Marder III Ausf. M, SdKfz 234/1 Armored Car (and 234/2 "Puma"), Jagpanzer IV Ausf F (L/48 and Ausf J L/70), and the StuH 42.
It also included crewable mortar teams, new roles and a slew of other changes that can be read about here.
