Nyko’s Charge Base IC shipping to retail

Back in August at Gamescom, NYKO announced several new products that they would be bringing out in 2009. One of them was the Charge Base IC for the Nintendo Wii, which shipped to retailers today. The induction based Charge Base will allow the Nyko Wand or Nintendo controllers to be charged without removing any silicone attachments or any other add-ons like the Wii motion plus. Included in the packet are two magnetic battery covers and two battery packs.
