I'll say this for Nyko, they never do anything half way. There aren't a whole lot of typing applications for the Wii, but if you actually use it for messaging and internet browsing then Nyko has a hardware solution that is comparable or maybe even superior to the PS3 and 360 thumbpads.
Nyko's Type Pad Pro is a full querty keyboard shaped like a convenient Wii remote dock, and even translates the A button and B trigger through the trans-port socket when you're using Nyko's proprietary Wand controller. I've been nothing but impressed with Nyko's Wii peripherals so far so I have no reason to think it would slip with the Type Pad Pro. Check the video out for more info.
