Nintendo downloads: Sonic is back

Monday game news means a new list of downloadable titles from Nintendo.

Wii owners might be happy to see every one’s favorite blue-colored hedgehog join the downloadable ranks with Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I (1500 Wii points). Otherwise, you can look to download Triple Jumping Sports (500 Wii points) for competitive jumping on the Wii.

DSi owners have three titles from which to choose. Help Ivy the bird search for her mother and keep her protected along the way by stretching vines for cover in Ivy he Kiwi? Mini (500 DSi points). Play as a lazy safety inspector who at losing all of mankind’s known data is punished with the task of finding it in Datamine (500 DSi points). Finally, G.G. Series Super Hero Ogre (200 DSi points) lets you play as a superhero in this action title.

This is the first time in a long while that I haven’t seen a child’s game, learning book, or doodler in the list of downloads. Even with the missing Virtual Console title, happy downloading.
