Nintendo Downloads: games for cheap and exclusive first-looks

This week's Nintendo line-up has a few worthy mentions. The DSiWare stock, you may notice from hitting the jump, ranges in price from 200 points to 500 points in offering puzzle games, Flips stories and Frogger Returns. The latest Photo Dojo game continues to be free until June 11th.

The Wii, while definitely pricier, offers two games this week in addition to exclusive rights to the Band Hero 1 Track Pack for a full week starting May 18th. The artists available in the track pack include Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato (read on for track details). As for the other games available on the Wii, BIT.TRIP RUNNER (800 points) adds yet another title to the infamous series already on the Wii. The second of these downloads is Blood Beach (1,000 points) that pits you against the Japanese Imperial Navy on a narrow stretch of sand armed with a wide variety of weaponry.

Finally, one of the cutest game characters in history returns from the SNES in Kirby Super Star (800 points) to grace the Virtual Console with his adorable presence.

In addition to the regular Nintendo download line-up, the WarioWare: DIY series continues this week with a microgame created by the hosts of Nintendo Channel's "Nintendo Week" program, Gary and Allison.
