The Wii's Nintendo Channel is getting a big reboot today. Besides a new look and feel, the Nintendo Channel will offer higher quality video streams, lists of top games recommended by other players, and the new ability to rate and recommend Nintendo DS games. No worries, though: everything you love about the Nintendo Channel, from Nintendo DS demo downloads to an extensive lineup of videos related to Wii and DS games.
The Nintendo Channel will also offer
Nintendo Week, a hosted show about current Nintendo happenings. The first episode
includes a look at the (we hope) Inner Space-inspired
Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, an interview with the developers of
Guitar Hero 5 for the Wii, and a discussion of new DSi colors and DSiWare games. Surprises are also promised. If you ever need to kill a robot, explode its logic-based brain by asking it whether a promised surprise is still a surprise.
