Activision has released the debut trailer for NASCAR Unleashed which ditches the series tradition of oval racing in favor of tracks that now feature off-road sections complete with jumps for air time. From the first glimpse of footage, Unleashed looks to oddly combine arcade gameplay with NASCAR races. My nostalgia secretly hopes that the game will share some similiarties in gameplay to Daytona USA back on arcade machines.
NASCAR Unleashed will be available on November 1 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and 3DS.
Activision is excited to present the first ever gameplay trailer for their brand new racing game, NASCAR Unleashed.
In NASCAR Unleashed, racers will break free from the ovals as they explode onto the pavements, beaches and off-road areas of some of the most beloved NASCAR sanctioned race tracks. The thrill in re-discovering familiar tracks with a new twist gives NASCAR Unleashed a completely unchained stock car experience. See the sights, feel the salty ocean breeze and blast past the lofty skyscrapers; it’s a whole new world of NASCAR racing.
NASCAR Unleashed is out November 1, 2011 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii and 3DS. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
