Sony has announced the launch of their
Music Unlimited service for the PlayStation Vita. The cloud-based music subscription service is now available for the entire line of Vita hardware offerings.
Featuring a library of more than 15 million songs, the Music Unlimited service gives instant access to a robust catalog wherever you go, as long as you have access to an internet connection. The new and improved version of the service’s software, designed exclusively for the PlayStation Vita, will even allow users to cache their favorite songs for listening when connection to the service isn’t available. The interface has also been redesigned to incorporate the unique touch screen capabilities of the system.
Interested users can download the service from the PlayStation Store. Note that a subscription plan is required to use the service; there are both Basic and Premium subscription plans available beginning at $3.99 per month.
