Today at Gamescom, gamigo released a trailer for their upcoming MMORPG Grimlands. The game takes place in a word that has been transformed into a nightmarish setting by a series of earthquakes, and those who survived lead a precarious life as the fight for survival starts anew each day. The trailer shows off the setting perfectly and shows scenes taken directly from the game, currently in the pre-alpha stage of development. I've heard of beta and alpha, but not pre-alpha. To me that means it's still in code on a sheet of paper or a computer screen that hasn't been compiled into a working program yet, but that's just me.
