SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of mobile games and interactive entertainment for mass-market casual gamers, today launched Flight Control for Java, Windows Mobile and Brew mobile phones, with the Android version coming out this Fall. The top-selling hit has now made a smooth landing on all major mobile platforms.
“Flight Control has seen tremendous success on iPhone”
In the action-packed title, players must guide planes, jets and helicopters safely to their landing zones. Flight Control is incredibly easy to play—just select an aircraft and direct it to its landing zone. As time passes, more aircraft start to fill the friendly skies, making Flight Control a game of strategy that will provide endless hours of frantic fun. It is up to the player to alter the aircraft’s flight path as needed to avoid mid-air collisions. With up to five different airfields and 10 types of aircraft, the addictive airline action continues as long as players bring every flight home safe and sound.
According to Namco Networks’ Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Scott Rubin, “With the title already available on iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Nintendo DSiWare, we are excited to work with Firemint to extend the accessibility of Flight Control to all the major mobile platforms. The game is extremely easy to pick up and very hard to put down, making it a great match for our core demographic.”
“Flight Control has seen tremendous success on iPhone,” stated Robert Murray, CEO of Firemint. “Our relationship with Namco goes back many years.
