The folks at the ESRB have
released a free iPhone application that will allow parents to get the full details on a game's ESRB rating using their iPhone. It's a fairly smart move as the application provides additional information to help parents decide if a game like
Modern Warfare 2 is appropriate for little Timmy or not.
I'm not sure how much I'm asking but it would be nice if the folks at the ESRB would make to provide an API for accessing this data so that developers could mash their rating data up with pricing information for Amazon or even reviews from sites Giant Bomb. This would allow third parties to extend the data they are providing to parents.
