Unlike Gillette, Accenture, and AT&T, EA is keeping their deal with Tiger Woods. Those other companies are "fair weather fans" and forget that it was his golf game that made him famous, not his marriage. All discussions of marital fidelity or proper role models aside, Electronic Arts would be making a bad business decision if they tried to give Tiger Woods the boot.
Even though it's bad press, it is still face time for this golfer that will be slapped on more video games in the years to come. How many people aren't going to pick up the next iteration of Tiger Woods PGA Tour because the titular athlete has a highly publicized personal life? Yeah, that's what I thought.
