Games on Demand service was only on the Xbox 360? Well, not any more. Microsoft quietly launched the service for PC gamers back on December 16 with the release of an update to Games for Windows and a new client which is available
here. The list of games available through the client isn't that long yet, but there are some pretty good titles on there. You can have immediate access to such titles as Resident Evil 5, Street Fighter IV, and Red Faction: Guerrilla without leaving the comfort of your home. No, the idea isn't "original" to say with the likes of Steam and D2D already having a foothold in the market; but Microsoft felt that it was their time to grab a share as well...
You should also know that Microsoft is giving away a free game entitled Tinker via the service as well, which if nothing else seems to be an easy 200 points to add to your gamerscore...
