Capcom isn’t finished riding the Dead Rising wave yet... they have announced that they are currently developing a mobile version of the game for the iPhone / iPod Touch. The title, which is due out by the end of the year, puts players back in the Willamette Mall and in the shoes of Frank West.
Dead Rising: Mobile will also include social network integration with both Facebook and Twitter; when you are dying, you can send out distress / help signals to your friends through these networks. Depending on the various types of responses, or lack thereof, that you receive, you will receive various bonuses in your next playthrough. It is also being said that players will be able to connect to one another’s games and have “indirect” control of the zombies in a player’s game. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
