Mock the Wii if you want, but Capcom did some things right with the system, particularly in the (formerly) Wii-exclusive Resident Evil rail gun games. Sony and Capcom have announced that both Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles are being remastered in HD and released on Sony’s PlayStation Network.
Available this coming June, both titles will be packaged in the digital release of Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection. The games will be offered separately at a later date. Both titles will fully support Sony’s PlayStation Move peripheral and present experiences very similar to the original Wii-releases. Capcom has released a new trailer showing off the improved versions of the game which took the RE series and made it an on-rails shooter.
