According to
GamesIndustry, we have new player in the British game development scene. Called
ShortRound Games and founded by ex-members of Black Rock Studios, makers of the recent racer Split/Second, the new studio will be located in Brighton. Andrew Hubbard (game director), Kim Burrows (technical director), Stuart Pharoah (technical art director), and Steve Uphill (creative and art director) are involved with the new company. There's no word yet on what kind of games they'll make or when we'll see what they're working on.
ShortRound Games is the second studio to spring from the lay-offs at Black Rock Studios, the other being
Roundcube Entertainment.
