BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion has a debut trailer

Cartoon TV series turned video game BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion - Battle Fortress for the Wii and BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion for the DS is showing off its debut trailer today. The game centers on hero Gingka and other beybladers who will compete to be recognized as the best across the world. The TV series, already launched in Canada, will arrive on Cartoon Network later this month for those of us in North America. Check out the trailer below, and expect the game to be released just in time for you to buy it as a Christmas gift for your young ones.

BEYBLADE: Metal Fusion from Nelvana and d-rights Inc. features a new cast of characters taking on the continued battle between good and evil. Gingka, the hero, and his group of loyal friends rally against a dangerous group called the Dark Nebula. The series follows a group of competitors who vie to be the best at Beyblading. Each blader modifies their Beyblades to compete to be #1 in the world. The television series launched in Canada in May 2010 on YTV and will debut in the United States on Cartoon Network this month.

The new Beyblade games will be released for the Nintendo DS and Wii systems, and are scheduled for release in the 2010 Holiday season.
