Valve will show off The Lab at GDC

More On: Vive

Ok, it's not the next Half-Life or Portal, but it's something pretty cool. The Lab is a compilation of VR experiences and one that's being designed to show off the HTC Vive. This room-scale VR title, launching in the Spring, is set in the confines of Aperture Science.

I had a chance to try out a portion of it at CES with the HTC Vive and it was one of the most amazing demos I experienced. You got a true sense of presence with it and it felt like you were really there in the world of Portal. And there was that great Aperture Science humor that kept the demo lighthearted and fun.

The Lab will be free and you can bet it'll be one of the first titles I try when I get the HTC Vive next month.
