Wolfenstein Site Launch & GameTrailers Reveals All

More On: Wolfenstein
For those of you who are like me and are anxiously awaiting the release of the next-gen debut of the beloved Wolfenstein series, then you'll be happy to know that the official site for Wolfenstein has been launched.  The site is new and it already has loads of screenshots, videos, concept art, and more so you can expect to see more content in the near future.  The game is being developed by Raven Software, and will be released later this year on the XBox 360, PS3, and PC.  If that's not enough to satiate your Wolfenstein needs then head on over to GameTrailers TV this Friday for an exclusive unveiling of the upcoming game.  During the half hour episode you'll be able to feast yoru eyes on a brand new trailer, interviews with members of id Software and Raven Software, new gameplay, and even a look at one of the bosses in the game!  The special will air this Friday, at 1am EST on Spike TV.  I'll definitely be checking this game out, as everything I've seen and heard so far has made me very excited for this game.

For those of you unfamiliar with the story behind the game, it takes place in 1943 when World War II is at its climax. While Allied forces have stalled the expansion of Hitler's Third Reich, the Nazi war machine still has its knife on the throat of Europe.  The Nazis have their hands on a powerful force called the Black Sun, which threatens the entire world.  You play as BJ Blazkowicz who's talents make him the only one who can stop them.  World War backdrop? Check.  Nazis?  Check.  Occult warfare?  Check.  This is definitely my type of game.
