Sky Babes vs. Fly Boys lifted off in the AppStore last week.  Being the first of four original iPhone titles coming from indie developer A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. Games (who must be competing with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. guys for some kind of award), this one looks like a gem:  the maps restrained but lovely, the characters doll-faced and debonair.  In the words of the dev team, "It's kind of like the Oregon Trail of the Sky."  Aside from that blatant attempt to tug at my heartstrings, Sky Babes vs. Fly Boys sends players off in a tailspin across the globe in order tactically assemble a lucrative collection of trade routes.  While racing against rivals, a ticking clock is actually replaced with rising fuel costs and emptying fuel tanks, so your objective is to expand your shipping nation before you're permanently grounded anyway.  Interesting premise.  Have a look:
