Firefall is a free-to-play team-based shooter currently being developed by
Red 5 Studios and a team that includes
World of Warcrafts' Mark Kern,
Tribes and
Tribes 2 lead designer Scott Youngblood, and Orson Scott Card (
Enders Game).
Firefall is said to combine a dynamic and persistent open world with competitive multiplayer and large-scale cooperative gameplay in a way never before seen on the F2P market.
