What this trailer depicts is either a brilliant or infuriating hook for anyone and everyone in the universe waiting for
Mass Effect 2. Bioware just released a teaser on their site--but that's probably why they're getting slammed from an unprecedented amount of traffic right now.
Rampant speculation time: The KIA status is just a cover-up for Commander Shepherd being the galaxy's biggest hero and for having a relentless enemy in his/her pursuit that
likewise won't be fooled by this conspiracy. Of course, I might have a better clue if I could stand to finish more than three chapters of the horribly-written
Mass Effect: Ascension novel that's been sitting on my shelf since July of last year.
