The folks over at Thrustmaster have sent us a boatload of their latest Nintendo Wii accessories (many first seen during our meeting with them at CES) to give away to our readership, so what better way to do it than a fun contest honoring classic Nintendo gaming. With Nintendo at the forefront of the video game world with the recently released DSi and the Wii still kicking butt and taking names in the console race, it seems like a great idea to us.
Starting next week, GamingNexus will be giving away a different Thrustmaster Wii Accessory every single day from Monday April 20th until Friday April 24th. The contest should be fairly easy (especially to the die-hard Nintendo faithful) but will definitely test your Nintendo history, or at least your ability to search the internet. Starting on Monday, we will run a different screenshot of a classic Nintendo game each day and all you have to do to enter is log into the GamingNexus forums and submit a guess as to what game the screenshot is from. It’s really that easy…well not really. The screens can come from any game on the Nintendo platform including DS, Wii, N64, SNES, NES, Virtual Boy, GB or GBA. Yup, all of them.
We will select a daily winner (and prize) at random from all the correct answers from registered users and if for some reason there aren't any correct answers, then we will select a winner at random from any user that made a guess. The only thing you need to do is register for the forums and put on your classic Nintendo gaming Hat of Wisdom. The winners will be contacted via your registered e-mail as well as posted on the site and prizes will be shipped to you after the contest*. Remember, you must be logged in for us to be able to count your guess and know who the winner is to ship a prize. We will select the winners on Sunday evening, April 25th which will allow for up to six days of thinking before making your guesses.
The prizes (not in order) from Thrustmaster include a T-Fitness Pro pack, T-Fitness Pack, T-Wireless Precision Pack, Dual trigger Gun and Glow Saber Duo. In addition, GamingNexus will throw in some swag from our vast collection to each winner as well. For complete rules, click though to the next page.
