Ben Kuchera over at Ars Technica has posted a fairly in-depth
preview of
Brutal Legend based on what they saw at GDC. They cover the art design of the game (heavy metal album covers) as well covering the bad guys that you'll be fighting in the game (hair metal fans). As a reformed metal fan I'm looking forward to seeing all the little cliche's that Tim Schafer puts into the game as the topic is ripe for parody. From the sound of the plot he's not going the Spinal Tap route but somewhere between Wayne's World II and Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny.
