While the artwork looks
as handsome as ever, I'm now hoping for even greater things out of the Samuel L. Jackson-voiced
Afro Samurai. Here's to hoping that killer-looking combos are as smooth to pull off as people's heads from the shoulders ... or torsos from waistlines, or tongues from mouths. It sounds brutal, I know, but that's the kind of stuff that happens when Asians try to hold a black man down -- or at least stand between him and his vengeance.
These eight new pics aren't showing off any particularly new environments or enemies. And in fact, the black-and-white pic of the cut-in-half enemy is a repeat, so it's possible that Namco Bandai is being coy with its slow reveals. (I'm only being critical because I'm anxious to see something fresh out of this game.)
