THQ putting finishing touches on Biomutant

Looking over the current line of games from THQ, one can be almost assured that their new releases will be interesting and potentially out-of-this-world. Biomutant is no exception to the list. The open-world, Kung-Fu infused RPG, led by a Rocket-looking, racoon-mole, looks to combine melee, gunplay, and mutant ability to make movement as open as possible. The game features the following:

• Freedom of movement - mixing melee with powers from mutations.
• Re-code your genetic structure to change the way you look and attack - i.e. mantis claws, barbed tails.
• Explore by foot, mech, jet-ski, air balloons, and mounts.
• Mix and match parts to make your own smash, crush, and pierce melee weapons. You can craft revolvers, rifles and more as well.

• Active storyline allows you to decide the direction and ending of the story

A plague is ruining the land and the Tree-of-life is dying. The tribes are divided and they need someone strong enough to unite them... or bring them down.

THQ Nordic says they are putting the finishing touches on the game and we'll cross our fingers that it means sometime 2018. One can hope.
