Here's something I didn't know I'd find about today: THQ is rebooting an old-school point-and-click horror series called Black Mirror. The titular new release, available as of November 28th, is a "modern re-imagining" in which new protagonist David Gordon must explore Black Mirror castle to solve a dark mystery about his family.
The trailer, which you can watch below, showcases both cutscenes and gameplay. The camera angles are the aspect I dig the most. it's a fresh on the old school aesthetic pioneered by Resident Evil over twenty years ago. It evokes a strong sensation of Poe and Lovecraft. And honestly, the protagonist's eyes have me shaking already.
Beware of ghosts, family drama, and British accents. Black Mirror is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
