Far from Noise is a conversation about life and death between a car and a deer

More On: Far from Noise

See, on one end of the spectrum, you've got your Call of Duties, and your Assassin's of Creeds, and your Battles of Fronts. But on the other end of the spectrum you're Far from Noise. It's a quiet game. A visual novel of sorts. One where you are a rusted old car teetering on the edge of a cliff. One where your steadfast companion is a deer—a buck with a full rack—who's here to dialogue with you about life and death.

Don't get crazy. The gameplay is merely a conversation. The setting is a cliff side with a sun going down to the horizon. This isn't a game with respawn rates and multiple lives. You've got one life, buddy. And we're going to have a little sit-down about what that means. Is it going to make your Game of the Year list? Maybe. Maybe not. But if you were to put together a year-end list of games examining your relationship with the world, and whether you'll see tomorrow, well, that's a list you might find Far from Noise on.

Far from Noise began its balancing act with real life yesterday, November 14, on PC and PlayStation 4.
