Supermassive pushes The Inpatient and Bravo Team to 2018

More On: The Inpatient Bravo Team

Supermassive announced today on Facebook that their two upcoming VR titles, The Inpatient and Bravo Team, have been pushed and will now release in 2018.

The Inpatient, the VR prequel to Until Dawn, will now be released on Jan 23rd, 2018. The game takes place in the same mental health facility (in this context, probably cool to call it an 'insane asylum') that was featured in Until Dawn. The game takes place in the 1950s, and contains a branching narrative and "unique voice controls". Details on the story line are sketchy, but I'm thinking that we might get more insight into the fate of those unfortunate miners featured in the previous title.

Bravo Team, described on Supermassive's site as a co-op cover-based FPS, will release on March 6, 2018. The game focuses on two player cooperative combat, with players ducking in and out of cover with a variety of weapons. Bravo Team was designed to be fully compatible with the PlayStation Aim controller, but will still be playable with Move controllers.

With Hidden Agenda releasing just two weeks ago, dropping these games before year end was a mighty ambitious schedule. I'm hoping that the development teams involved use this time to smooth out any remaining wrinkles, because I am super jazzed for both of these titles.
