Currently in the Kickstarter phase, Teddy and Bo: Search for the Dream Catcher is a 3D platformer which takes place inside the world of a child's dream. The child in question, Teddy, is actually you. Teddy's dreams tend to border on 'nightmare' as monsters that live under your bed emerge to do what monsters do, which is to frighten 6 year old kids, like you.
You and your anthropomorphic teddy bear, Bo, must go on a quest to find the legendary "dream catcher" in order to stop the monsters and restore balance between dreams and nightmares.
As I have warned folks before, it's a fairly bad idea to anthropomorphize bears of any type; they really, really hate that. Should you ignore my warning, and most people do, you and Bo will explore different dream worlds with unique environments and play styles. Armed with a wooden toy sword and a dart gun, you will need to defeat a diverse set of monsters who stand in your way. Granted, that type of weaponry wouldn't get you very far in the real world, but anything is possible in the realm of nightmares.
The game is being developed for the PS4 and is slated for release in 2018.
