God Eater 3 is set to terrorize America
Namco Bandai has just announced that they're bringing God Eater 3, the third installment in the popular Japanese action RPG, over to the States. In God Eater 3, you take the role of one of the titular cursed heroes to do battle with the monstrous Aragami, kaiju-like beasts that have conquered the Earth. God Eater 3 sounds like it includes co-op of sorts, stating : "Team up with other God Eaters equipped with the latest God Arc weapons to take down monstrous new Aragami tearing apart locations around the globe."
Personally I think the series looks like an answer to Capcom's wildly popular Monster Hunter franchise. That said, this monster-slaying action RPG genre has been slowly growing in popularity here in the States, so I'm glad the competition is making its way over here as well. Unfortunately a release date and supported consoles haven't been announced yet, but you can be sure we'll let you know as soon as Namco Bandai releases that info. For now, check out this trailer:
