Unfortunately for us, it's not in English.
But if there's one thing I know about Dragon's Dogma, it's that dialogue and story are not terribly important. One of my favorite games of the last generation, the focus is on its incredible combat and engaging encounters with frankly ridiculously huge monsters.
Despite its charms, it certainly wasn't without problems, many of which were of the technical variety. Updating the game and putting it on more capable machines will probably vastly improve the experience, if not just providing an excuse to play a great game yet another time.
