E3 2017: TaleWorlds Entertainment drops new gameplay trailers for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

TaleWorld Entertainment dropped two new trailers for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord at E3 2017. The new trailers include gameplay of the Cavalry Sergeant and Horse Archer units. The trailers show off the new mechanics introduced featuring advanced formations, AI players will use advanced tactics and the Sergeant System which allows players to designate units to other player lords during battle. The advanced formations available to players allows them to micromanage troops fighting in close melee combat while the AI's use of tactics will exploit any weak flanks. New fighting mechanics are also added to Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord. Directional shield blocking and shield bash which will empower players to knock back and stun enemies in close melee, attacks can be chained into follow-up attacks and heavy weapons can rely on their momentum to swing faster if the first strike is properly delivered. Most notable are the improved animations and combat engine means damage from different weapons are calculated on the weapons weight and other factors.
