Indivisible is headed to Nintendo Switch with a collector's edition

More On: Indivisible

Publisher 505 Games and developer Lab Zero have announced that their crowd-funded, upcoming action RPG Indivisible will be making its way to Nintendo Switch. The RPG is influenced by southeast Asian mythology and follows the journey of a young girl named Anja, who in typical RPG fashion recruits a colorful party during her adventure. The game was previously announced for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One but apparently the Switch will get in on the action too, with Switch even getting a collector's edition bundle. Lab Zero is best known for developing Skullgirls and I know we have some fans of that game here on staff, so a lot of us are anticipating Indivisible's release.

INDIVISIBLE, THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED ACTION RPG FUNDED BY FANS

CONFIRMS UPCOMING RELEASE ON NINTENDO SWITCH

New Incarnations, Environments & More Revealed This Month in Exclusive Backers Preview

CALABASAS, Calif. – June 1, 2017 – 505 Games and leading independent developer Lab Zero Games have announced they will bring action role-playing game Indivisible to the Nintendo Switch™, in a new trailer: https://youtu.be/iZJf1iTkgx4. Created by Lab Zero Games, creators of cult-favorite fighting game Skullgirls, Indivisible spans a huge fantasy world inspired by various cultures and mythologies. The game was funded in part by a hugely successful Indiegogo campaign, in addition to 505’s investment, and today Lab Zero has also announced that backers of the crowd-funding will be treated to a new, exclusive preview– available on previously announced platforms PlayStation®4, Xbox One™ and Steam– in the coming weeks.

“Ever since Nintendo announced the Switch, Lab Zero’s fans have been clamoring for Indivisible to come to the platform. Platformers and RPGs are great on the couch or on the go, making our game a great fit for the console. So supporting the Switch was an easy decision,” said Peter Bartholow, CEO of Lab Zero Games. “The team has been hard at work on Indivisible for more than a year now, and we’re excited to share the progress with our supporters. We wouldn’t be making this game without them, and it’s important that we keep them involved and listen to their feedback to make the game even better.”

A classically-influenced RPG/platformer hybrid, Indivisible tells the tale of Ajna, a good-natured tomboy with a rebellious streak. Her life is thrown into chaos when her town is attacked, awakening a mysterious power in her – the ability to absorb certain individuals into her being. She embarks on a quest to confront the warlord who destroyed her home, uniting people from far-away lands along the way, discovering new aspects of herself and her world in the process.

Fans who backed Indivisible’s Indiegogo campaign will see new and improved content in the preview based in part on their feedback, including:

  • New Environments
  • New Incarnations and the Bow Weapon for Ajna
  • New and Updated Monsters
  • Updated Battle Flow and Battle UI
  • Refined Progression
  • New Platforming Controls
  • An Updated Engine
  • New Music
  • New Voice-Overs

Additionally, the preview will have new speedrun contests, giving players a chance at a free upgrade to the $500 Indiegogo tier, which includes a physical Collector’s Edition of the game, a t-shirt, physical soundtrack, framed giclee print, a statue of Ajna and more.

Indivisible is planned for release in 2018, and will offer English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Russian-language versions. For more information on the game, please visit: www.indivisiblegame.com
