More On:

Twitch.tv is undergoing a few UI changes to provide quicker access to the event you want to see and make the site generally more user-friendly. The changes are pivoting around the new Pulse feature, which is basically a tool that allows broadcasters to interact with their viewers and subscribers.  There's a handy blog post all about Pulse on the Twitch site.

In addition to Pulse integration, site wide navigation is moving to the top of the page for ease of use and greater access to followers and friends are bing integrated. The video below describes the changes, and the press release from Twitch is after the Read More link after that.

What’s Changing?

Pulse
Pulse makes it easier for streamers and viewers to engage with each other on Twitch. Pulse is the foundation of the new front page, and has already started rolling out to millions of users worldwide.

Remember: the posts you create on your Channel Feed appear on Pulse, and Channel Feed will soon be auto-enabled for all streamers. Learn more about the best kinds of posts to share on Channel Feed.

Site-Wide Navigation
Site-wide navigation has moved to the top of the page, where you’ll find user settings, notifications, and the Browse directory, your home for checking out new channels on Twitch. You’ll be able to browse games, Communities, popular channels and videos, and Creative all in one place.

Easy Access to Follows and Friends
We know you want to stay on top of the hottest streams on Twitch, so we’ve added live channels you follow to your list of online friends on the left hand side of every page. Now you’ll always know who’s live and what your friends are watching, no matter where you are on the site.
